Watching the sunset
Succumbing to the anguish of the earth;
Tears just gone by
Alone in the shadow of lies

I’m shattered
Longing for thine compassion;
Your strength I needed
In my misery of depression

It’s getting cold
Thy warmth shall unfoldeth;
It’s getting dark
Thou shall illuminate.

The hours of obscurity has drawn closer
Tomorrow will befall;
Twilight will come faster
Further tears will fall.
